My Warrior Walk

Through my life I have learned that every transition is seasonal .. if you let it.
I’ve been depressed but I’ve overcome, I remember lay- ing on the bathroom flooring drowning in bills, collaps- ing in emotions, children banging on the door wanting to play and I didn’t have an answer.. but I found a reso- lution in faith.
I suffered through anxiety daily, smiling through the pain but internally breaking inside. Screaming at myself as the kids break my favorite ornament on the tree or my picture comes tumbling off the wall..but my reflec- tion gave off fierce, strong, and resilient.
My shoulders rolled off pain, my weight on my image reflected the image that appeared nothing in this world whole ever redirect my core or my strength that always carried me but soldiers see storms too.
I suffer from being the one who “ has it all together” but I scream to myself god why me? Resilience doesn’t choose the weakest women but the strongest individu- als to teach the tribe.
Women are creators, soldiers, providers, nurturer’s and born lovers, this is what MY reflection tells me.
When wit is at its end or trials become tribulations, em- bracing what I’ve gone through has always resonated where I was headed instead of where I have been.
My warrior walk is an embrace of my warrior run.
When I’m worn down, exhausted, energy on E but to do list on overload, it’s the self reminder that I was gods ris- ing soldier for the task that keeps me going. It’s mom - my’s sweet babies that keep me pressured.

It’s the little Queen to the left of me who knows my crown is solid, it’s the young kings to the right who NEED the evolution of life to drastically change the next generation.
It’s me.. I am the reason, my progression stance is fierce. Resilience is a choice. We are the reason. They are the reason. Your children are our future. Faith IS my answer to the battle we fight and the world we carry.
To the woman who tries her hardest to keep her best foot forward, giving up isn’t an option.
To the mom who wakes up before the sun to meditate to her finest sound bath and resonate her vision for her children, I see you. To the Queen who sets the tone for her children by being the example, every single day, to the strong blended mom who plays multiple roles in her daily routine, smiles every day and never sheds a tear, To the mother who wears the cape of a hero and hats of variations of careers,To the mother who plays the father, To the mother who plays the mother... WE see you.
In the midst of life’s hardest challenges, we are faced to be who we need to be, step into roles of multiple people who were supposed to be there and still have the expectancy of being us, because we were created in the beauty of strength. I was unsure I would survive. With resilience at the peak of my vision and children at the bay of my being I knew they couldn’t create for our culture unless I pushed forward for them first.
In the stance of a warrior who interchanges multiple capes, this letter is to self and to every Queen who just needs a crown Adjustment.
